K&F Concept SS Denham Workshop 17th October 2020.

08/11/2020
SS Denham Wreck 1

An easy 30 minute walk accessible on low spring tides from the Derby Pool. The wreck is of the Mersey Docks & Harbours survey vessel SS Denham. She sank in 1946 with all hands after hitting a German sea mine. German mines remained a hazard to shipping for years after the end of hostilities in 1945. The wreck 's wheelhouse and funnel were dispersed to the gunwales so as not to cause a hazard to shipping.

This was a well planned shoot, it coincided with a perfect 950mm low tide 30 minutes after sunset, myself Ray McBride and Mali Davies hosted the event which was cancelled two previous times due to bad weather. Due to the pandemic we were only allowed 6 people to attend due to government rules.

What can you expect when attending a K&F Concept Workshop, well all we ask is to have a look at the photography gear we have on show, have a hands on look and try it out for yourself, no heavy sales pitch either. Also some social media feedback would also be most welcome too, and a group shot at the end with the K&F Concept Banner.

Myself & Mali would like to thank all who attended this K&F Concept Workshop, it certainly wasn't easy under the present circumstances, but I feel judging on the mood of everyone this was just the tonic we all needed, great banter and the weather was perfect too. We don't know what this pandemic will throw up next, but one thing is for sure I myself and Mali will be working on future workshops which we hope will be bigger and better. A big thank you to the K&F Concept Marketing Team, who without them these workshops would not be possible, there support is immense and we are delighted to hopefully have a long and lasting collaboration with them.

When we all start to feel safer from this Pandemic the workshops will be listed on myself & Mali's Facebook pages, also if you are interested in any K&F Concept Photography accessories you can find them on my website page. Ray McBride Photography...
